Ready to start engaging the community with your polls? Here's your complete step-by-step guide to creating, customizing, and publishing your polls on ANKETA. We’ve made it super simple and intuitive so you can focus on what matters: getting answers!
On the Main Feed, tap the “+” button at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
A menu pops up with two options:
Poll
Survey
Tap Poll to get started.
After selecting Poll, you’ll see four poll types to choose from. Each works a little differently:
Multiple Choice → Best for questions with three or more answer options.
Two-Sided → Perfect for "Yes/No" or "This or That" style polls with only two choices.
Ranking → Let people rank several options from most to least preferred.
Open-Ended → Allow voters to write their own answers.
Once you choose, you’ll enter that poll type’s specific creation flow. Let’s go through each one:
Write Your Question: Type your poll question in the main text box.
Add a Description (Optional): Toggle on the description option to provide context or extra details.
Add Your Options: Add at least three answer choices. You can add more if you want.
Edit Anytime: You can add, remove, or rearrange options until your poll is published.
Write Your Question: Keep it short and direct; this works best for "either/or" questions.
Add Two Options Only: For example:
“Cats or Dogs?” → Option 1: Cats 🐱, Option 2: Dogs 🐶
“Yes or No?” → Option 1: Yes ✅, Option 2: No ❌
Add a Description (Optional) if you want to give more context.
Write Your Question: Ask something that invites comparison, like “Rank these vacation spots!”
Add at Least Three Options: These are the items voters will rank in order.
Drag and Drop Ranking: When voting, participants will rearrange your options to show preference.
Write Your Question: Perfect for collecting feedback or creative ideas.
Set Character Limits: Choose how long answers can be:
100 characters
250 characters
500 characters
No limit at all
Let voters express themselves freely; the choice is yours!
Make your poll more engaging by adding media! After writing your question and options, you’ll see an option to attach media. You can upload:
Images
Videos
Links
Adding visuals helps your poll stand out and grab attention, but this step is completely optional.
Once your poll’s question, options, and media are ready, you’ll land on the Poll Settings & Preview page. This is where you finalize how your poll will look and work before publishing.
On the top-right corner of your question preview and media preview, you’ll see a small pencil icon ✏️.
Tap it to:
Edit your question → Takes you back to the question setup.
Edit your media → Takes you back to the media upload screen.
After editing, you’ll return to the settings page automatically.
Tap the channel icon to tag your poll with one or more topics.
Channels define what your poll is about and help it reach the right audience.
Tagging at least one channel is highly recommended for better visibility.
Decide how long your poll stays open. Quick-select options include:
1 Day
3 Days
1 Week
1 Month
90 Days (Maximum)
Want your poll to go live later? No problem! Enable the “Schedule Poll” toggle and choose:
Date → Pick the exact day your poll should post.
Hour → Choose the time of day for publishing.
Minute → Set the exact minute within that hour.
Once you save, your poll will automatically post at the scheduled time.
There are three key toggles to control who sees your poll and how:
Private Poll
Keeps your poll off the blockchain.
Only people you follow can see and vote.
Sensitive Content
Adds a warning banner over your poll.
Perfect if your question or media might be sensitive.
Post as Anonymous Poll
Hides your username and creator identity.
No one will know you created it!
Review your poll settings one last time on the preview screen.
If everything looks good, tap Publish.
Your poll will either go live instantly or at the scheduled time you selected.
Explore Polls: Check out trending polls and vote on what interests you.
Engage with the Community: Share your polls to spark conversations.
